Hello from Gelndaloch Ireland. I sailed to Rosslare Port in Ireland on the 15th from Fishgaurd Wales. The customs agents wanted to ask me some questions such as: Why are here? How are you paying for your trip? "I dont know what you've been told about Ireland, but htis is not the land of little leprichans. This is a real crime area and people get murdered and robbed" he told me. I was afraid they wouldn't let me in at first, but Im here now and thats good. I spent 3 nights in Wexford durring which time I rested and went to an Irish music session which I didn't play in this time. I practiced my whistle, visited an art center, read some books and had my first fish and chips. Wexford is a great city to relax in. There is alot to do and its not terribly hectic. This morning I took the train from Wexford to Wiklow and then a buss from there to Ashrord and then I hiked 10 miles to Glendaloch where I am now. It is an old monastery started by St Kevin long ago. I think in the 7th century. The monastery is in the middle of a forest and 2 lochs (lakes). There is a beutiful cemitary 11th century round tower and lots of nature. I shall be here for a few days and then I will hike to Dublin. Take care, Micah
