Hello From Killarney - On my way to Cork (Ireland) since my lest letter I spent 2 beautiful days in Athlone, and saw the Clonmacniose abbey which is built on an ancient early christian site along the Shannon river. The monastery was started by St Ceiran who it is said was trained by Finan and spent time on the Aran island of Inis Man studying with St Enda as well. The abbey was beautiful and so was the town. There was a wedding function going on. So far I have encountered in 1 way or another 3 funerals and 2 weddings and1 festival on my travels. Now I am in Kilarney which is a national park in county Kerry. It is a great lively city with alot of art. Take care - Micah
