Hi from Kilarney, Kerry, Ireland - Yesterday I took a boat to the Skellig Michael rock off the coast of Kerry Ireland from Portmagee and saw an old monastic settlement with beehive huts. It was very beautiful. On the back the weather got rough and I was soaked to the bone through all my waterproof clothing and all, so I had to take a shower at the hostel after hiking to Caershiveen where Daniel O'Donnal is from. He is known for the catholic emancipation act that he brought to congress as an MP for Irelnad in Londdon back when it was part of England and Catholics were not allowed to own land or cows worth over a certain amount of money. he came from a small house, which I saw and then became a layer. I met a young man about my age esterday at the hostel who is considering going into the peace corps and has taken courses in Celtic studies so we had a bit in common. Next I am going to go to the Dingle pininsula and hike up mount Brendon to see where Brendon the patron saint of county Kerry here set out to the west. I am going to be leaving to Scotland a few days later than anticipated because there is much to see in this area. Bye and best of luck to everyone. - Micah
